Cell Line Collection: Panel of robust and well characterised iPSC lines from healthy backgrounds

EBiSC understands that many users may need an initial iPSC line for starting experiments or for use as a control. Here we highlight iPSC lines derived from individuals healthy at the time of tissue donation, using multiple reprogramming methods and from male and female donors, which may be a good starting point for your use.

Note: EBiSC cannot guarantee cell line performance in the hands of external Users however we are always available to support and troubleshoot as needed.

We would like to additionally highlight two of these lines which have been used extensively within EBiSC for internal research:

  • BIONi010-C is a highly used control line both within and outside of EBiSC. It generally shows a robust and stable growth and has been shown to perform well in differentiation down both neural and cardiac lineages. It is highly published, well characterised and has whole genome sequencing data available upon request.
  • UKBi005-A is another well used control line. It has demonstrated stability in culture and has been used extensively within EBiSC for various research into new approaches towards automation, upscaling, 2D and 3D culture and differentiation.
