The Spanish Stem Cell Bank (Banco Nacional de Lineas Celulares - BNLC) is a non-profit network institution aimed to provide both hESC & iPSC for research. BNLC has a central governance and funding by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII), reporting to the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitivity.

Maria Concepción Martín Arribas, Nurse – PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health. Master of Bioethics. Secretary of the Ethics Committee of the Research Institute for Rare Diseases. Secretary of the Research Ethics Committee of the ISCIII. She has several publications on legal and ethical issues in biomedical research, mainly on the ethical implications related to the collection of biological samples and biobanks of human material for research purposes.
